Job description
Role overview
This is a remote Product Owner opportunity for a candidate based in Ireland, supporting a partner company that handles the application and hiring steps. The role is centered on improving the experience after payment on a large-scale digital product used by millions of people across global markets.
You will focus on helping paying customers reach value faster by connecting with relevant matches and staying engaged early in their journey. The position brings together product direction, user behavior insights, and data-led optimization, with a strong focus on activation and customer success. You will collaborate in a dynamic international setting with analytics, design, and engineering partners to remove friction from discovery and matching flows while improving satisfaction, retention, and overall product value.
Key impact areas
- Take ownership of the post-payment customer journey and continuously enhance the core product experience so users can quickly and consistently find meaningful engagement.
- Improve activation by helping paying users discover strong matches and maintain initial communication during the first week.
- Spot pain points in discovery, recommendation, and matching journeys, then shape practical solutions that improve relevance and user satisfaction.
- Refine the quality and personalization of offers, invites, and recommendations using behavioral signals and user preferences.
- Build and improve segmentation approaches so the experience is better tailored to different user groups and expectations.
- Work closely with analytics, engineering, and design teams to validate ideas, measure outcomes, and keep iterating based on results.
- Create engagement and reactivation mechanisms, including personalization, gamification, and communication features that support retention and perceived value.
Requirements
- Extensive background in B2C product management, preferably within products that rely on discovery, matching, or recommendation engines.
- Demonstrated success improving activation, onboarding, or time-to-value in consumer digital products.
- Good grasp of customer journey design, especially in subscription or post-purchase environments.
- Hands-on experience with data-driven product development, including experimentation, A/B testing, and behavioral analysis.
- Ability to shape segmentation, personalization, and recommendation logic.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to uncover root user problems rather than just responding to feature requests.
- Experience working in environments with many user choices, options, or pathways.
- Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Benefits
- 100% remote working arrangement.
- 28 calendar days of paid annual leave.
- 7 wellness days each year for rest and personal needs, without drawing from sick leave.
- Annual learning and development support covering 50% of the cost for courses, conferences, and professional events.
- Discounted English language learning for employees.
- Health support allowance of up to $1,000 gross per year for medical insurance or healthcare costs for employees and close family members.
- Work setup support budget of up to $1,000 gross every 3 years for a home office or co-working space.
- Internal gamified recognition program with rewards that can be exchanged for merchandise, experiences, and team activities.
- Referral bonuses of up to $5,000 for successful recommendations.
