About the Company and Role
Our client is a reputable manufacturing company looking to recruit a Production Manager responsible for leading production operations to successfully meet manufacturing goals. The organization prioritizes maintaining high-quality product standards, operational efficiency, workplace safety, and fostering business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily manufacturing activities throughout the production facility.
- Create and manage production schedules aligned with customer demand and operational capabilities.
- Track production efficiency, quality standards, and control operational expenses.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Collaborate closely with departments such as Planning, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor equipment usage and analyze production performance metrics.
- Establish production KPIs and prepare related management reports.
- Oversee production budgeting and workforce management.
- Lead employee development efforts, conduct performance reviews, and plan for succession.
- Assist with launching new products and improve manufacturing processes.
- Cultivate a workplace culture focused on ongoing improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum eight years of industrial manufacturing experience, including leadership roles in production.
- Deep knowledge of production planning and manufacturing operations.
- Hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing implementation.
- Strong leadership capabilities coupled with analytical and sound decision-making skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures alongside quality management systems.
- Familiarity with ERP systems used in manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
