Position Purpose
The Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the daily management and effective execution of the Summer Teen Expansion Program (TEP). This includes assistance in program planning, supervision of frontline staff, coordination of various program activities, and establishment of a safe, engaging, and welcoming atmosphere for teenagers involved.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to oversee logistical aspects of the program.
- Coordinate and manage staff schedules and activities to optimize program delivery.
- Promote and maintain an environment that ensures positive youth development for participants aged 13 to 19.
- Facilitate access to enriching recreational, educational, and social opportunities for teens.
Working Schedule and Compensation
The position involves working 19 hours weekly on a varying schedule that includes Sunday through Saturday, reflecting the seasonal nature of the program. Compensation is offered at $24 per hour.
