About the Role
Woods & Co Recruitment is seeking a Stock Manager to join a proactive property sales support team based in South Melbourne, Victoria. This key position involves managing the property stock pipeline efficiently to ensure seamless communication and precise data management among diverse stakeholders including builders, developers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately maintain property stock records, including pipeline updates and statuses.
- Manage stock databases and spreadsheets ensuring data accuracy and provide regular reports on availability, reservations, and releases.
- Coordinate with builders, developers, and team members to confirm stock details, delivery schedules, and document requirements.
- Serve as the primary contact for queries related to stock allocation and project progress.
- Prepare and handle purchase orders, reservation confirmations, and update internal systems accordingly.
- Support forecasting and planning through routine stock reporting.
- Create management reports to identify and recommend process improvements for operational efficiency.
- Assist the broader operations team with administrative duties as necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in administration, operations coordination, or stock control; experience in property, real estate, or construction is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Exceptional attention to detail and advanced skills in spreadsheets (Excel for data entry and formulas; familiarity with Google Sheets is favorable).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional tone.
- Highly organized and capable of independently managing multiple priorities.
- Experience engaging with external stakeholders such as builders and partners in sales.
