Project Delivery Professionals

Overview

We invite Australian citizens and holders of Active NV1, NV2, or TSPV clearances (or those eligible to obtain such clearances) interested in contributing to Defence, National Security, and Federal Government projects. Based primarily in Canberra and Adelaide, we are expanding our permanent Project, Program and PMO capabilities to support a growing pipeline of secured programs, upcoming opportunities, and future projects within our Space, Defence & Intelligence division.

Role and Responsibilities

As a member of our Project, Program & PMO team, you will collaborate with government and industry to deliver complex Defence and National Security initiatives from initiation through to capability deployment. Your responsibilities may include:

• Managing projects and programs of varying scale and complexity.
• Establishing and supporting PMO functions.
• Ensuring robust project governance and preparing comprehensive reporting.
• Developing and maintaining project schedules and plans.
• Overseeing project controls related to cost and performance.
• Identifying and managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Conducting business analysis and managing requirements.
• Leading organisational change management efforts.
• Engaging and liaising with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and delivery teams.
• Supporting capability acquisition, sustainment, and digital transformation projects within Defence.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

We seek individuals experienced in one or more of the following disciplines:

• Project Management
• Program Management
• PMO establishment and support
• Project Controls
• Project Planning and Scheduling
• Governance and Assurance
• Risk Management
• Change Management
• Business Analysis
• Portfolio Management
• Delivery Management
• Project Coordination and Support
• Capability Delivery
• Defence acquisition or sustainment programs

Experience levels from developing engineers to senior technical leaders are welcome. Preferred additional credentials include:

• Previous delivery experience in Defence, Defence Industry, or National Security sectors.
• Familiarity with Defence project governance, acquisition life cycles, and capability frameworks.
• Proficiency with management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Confluence, or comparable platforms.
• Certifications like PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, Agile or related methodologies.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
