Role Summary

This full-time remote position as a Project Lead involves guiding a significant project with a focus on legal and strategic oversight within technology sectors. The candidate will spearhead the creation and application of legal frameworks for new technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities

Formulating and executing legal strategies that align with project objectives and regulatory standards.
Working closely with various teams to ensure compliance throughout product development.
Leading assessments and mitigation of legal risks associated with technology.
Drafting and evaluating contracts and policies that secure the organization's interests.

Required Experience and Skills

Possession of a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a recognized institution.
At least seven years of legal experience, with a minimum of three years in leadership roles managing projects.
In-depth knowledge of technology law, including facets such as data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulations related to artificial intelligence.
Expertise in preparing and negotiating complex legal agreements.
Capability to simplify legal ideas into practical business strategies for audiences without a legal background.
Strong skills in analysis, problem resolution, and effective communication.
Familiarity with legal research tools and compliance management frameworks.
