Role Overview
The organization is looking for a proactive and detail-focused Project Management Officer Manager who can both set up and run PMO processes while managing several projects at the same time. The position blends hands-on coordination with building project governance, and it calls for experience across both traditional and agile delivery methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple medium-sized projects from kickoff to completion.
- Create project plans, build schedules, and monitor progress against milestones and deliverables.
- Work alongside senior project managers and cross-functional stakeholders to keep delivery on track.
- Run project meetings, capture next steps, and keep project records current and organized.
- Help design, improve, and apply PMO workflows, templates, and best practices.
- Maintain project governance documentation, delivery standards, and methodology materials.
- Assist with portfolio updates, resource monitoring, and project prioritization.
- Share status updates, risks, and issues with project managers and relevant stakeholders.
- Support change management efforts and collect feedback from stakeholders.
Profile Required
Applicants should have 3–5 years of experience in IT transformation project management and a track record of contributing to successful delivery in fast-moving, cross-functional environments. Exposure to technology projects, software development, or IT implementation work is important. The role also requires a solid understanding of change management, risk handling, and issue resolution, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Tools and Qualifications
You should be comfortable using Microsoft Office, and ideally have experience with MS Project or similar project management tools. Familiarity with Jira, Asana, Monday.com, and collaboration platforms such as Teams, Slack, or Confluence is also preferred. CAPM or progress toward PMP is preferred, while Agile/Scrum certifications such as CSM or PSM are an advantage. A strong working knowledge of PMI standards and agile principles is expected.
Work Environment and Benefits
- Flexible work arrangements are supported, including remote work and flexible hours to help maintain work-life balance.
- Career development is a key focus, with programs designed to open up a wide range of growth opportunities.
- Employees may gain access to certifications in modern technologies such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- The company promotes a safe, inclusive workplace where people can be themselves, with support from staff-led community groups.
