Role Overview
The Senior Planning & Billing Engineer plays a pivotal role in managing overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring, cost control, and billing processes in civil construction projects. The position demands ensuring timely project completion, optimal use of resources, and precise client billing that aligns with the work executed on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining detailed project plans and schedules to meet deadlines.
- Managing billing activities including preparing client invoices and certifications based on work performed.
- Estimating quantities involved in civil structural components accurately.
- Preparing subcontractor billing documents and ensuring timely payments.
- Compiling Daily Labour Reports (DLR) and Daily Progress Reports (DPR) to track site progress.
- Creating monthly and weekly project plans to guide ongoing activities.
- Coordinating daily with the site team and clients to streamline project execution.
- Planning the allocation and deployment of resources effectively to maintain workflow continuity.
