Job Responsibilities

Lead or assist in preparing detailed cost and price proposals following RFP guidelines, ensuring adherence to government policies, regulations, and company standards.
Analyze and assess proposal cost data using both traditional and modern cost estimation techniques and tools.
Provide pricing support for task order proposals under IDIQ contracts, ensuring proper Schedule B attachments, rate pools, labor categories, and labor hour inputs.
Collaborate closely with capture managers, proposal managers, finance teams, and executives to guarantee proposals are thorough, accurate, competitive, and compliant.
Conduct market research and evaluate pricing trends to develop competitive, optimized pricing strategies.
Ensure all proposals comply fully with FAR and DFARS regulations.
Detect and resolve pricing conflicts or discrepancies as they arise.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related area.
At least five years of experience in proposal pricing within the Federal Government contracting sector.
Experience pricing task order proposals under IDIQ contracts.
In-depth knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulatory frameworks.
Strong financial acumen to develop precise pricing models.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
Meticulous attention to detail to maintain compliance and accuracy in cost data.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with both small and large Federal Government contractors.
Proven skills in market research and pricing trend analysis.
Background in developing cost estimates and pricing strategies for government proposals.
Experience with pricing support for Department of Veterans Affairs proposals.

Eligibility

Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
Ability to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for the position.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range offered for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000, influenced by factors like candidate location, expertise, competencies, and contract affordability.
