Job Responsibilities
- Lead or assist in preparing detailed cost and price proposals following RFP guidelines, ensuring adherence to government policies, regulations, and company standards.
- Analyze and assess proposal cost data using both traditional and modern cost estimation techniques and tools.
- Provide pricing support for task order proposals under IDIQ contracts, ensuring proper Schedule B attachments, rate pools, labor categories, and labor hour inputs.
- Collaborate closely with capture managers, proposal managers, finance teams, and executives to guarantee proposals are thorough, accurate, competitive, and compliant.
- Conduct market research and evaluate pricing trends to develop competitive, optimized pricing strategies.
- Ensure all proposals comply fully with FAR and DFARS regulations.
- Detect and resolve pricing conflicts or discrepancies as they arise.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related area.
- At least five years of experience in proposal pricing within the Federal Government contracting sector.
- Experience pricing task order proposals under IDIQ contracts.
- In-depth knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulatory frameworks.
- Strong financial acumen to develop precise pricing models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail to maintain compliance and accuracy in cost data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with both small and large Federal Government contractors.
- Proven skills in market research and pricing trend analysis.
- Background in developing cost estimates and pricing strategies for government proposals.
- Experience with pricing support for Department of Veterans Affairs proposals.
Eligibility
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for the position.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range offered for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000, influenced by factors like candidate location, expertise, competencies, and contract affordability.
