Job description

Overview

This role requires a bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent. As a Purchasing Supervisor, you will manage the procurement of general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services needed by the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure equipment, materials, and business services based on organizational requirements.
  • Evaluate needs of the establishment to create precise specifications for purchases.
  • Engage and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive offers.
  • Communicate and consult with suppliers to ensure procurement objectives are met.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee the performance of a team of 5 to 10 employees.
  • Address and resolve issues by liaising with clients and suppliers.
  • Organize, coordinate, and manage the operational logistics within the organization.

Work Schedule and Terms

  • Permanent position.
  • Work hours range from 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Shifts include morning, day, evening, and shift work options.
  • Work language is English.
