Python Data Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Python Data Engineer based in Dubai with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Candidates should be ready to join within an immediate to 30-day notice period.

Technical Expertise

• Core Python: Proficiency in Python basics including data types, variables, operators, control flow, functions, classes, modules, exception handling, and file operations. Familiar with built-in data structures such as lists, tuples, dictionaries, sets, and string manipulation techniques.
• Web Frameworks: Well-versed in one or more Python web frameworks such as Pyramid, Flask, or Django. Experienced in routing, templating, database connectivity, authentication mechanisms, and testing frameworks related to web development.
• Object Relational Mappers (ORM): Skilled in using ORMs like SQLAlchemy, Django ORM, or Peewee to manage database operations via Python objects, including model definition, executing CRUD operations, querying data efficiently, and managing transactions.
• Data Science and Machine Learning: Familiar with data analysis and modeling using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. Understands fundamental statistics, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning approaches.
• Additional Competencies: Proficient in debugging and testing code using techniques such as logging, breakpoints, unit and integration testing. Experienced with version control, specifically Git, including branching, commits, merges, pull/push requests. Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of documenting code clearly, adhering to coding standards, and effectively engaging with clients and teams.
