Job description

Role overview

The QA/QC Manager for MEP will lead quality assurance and quality control activities for the assigned site in Riyadh. Working with the head of operations and other department leaders, this person will make sure the delivered work meets customer expectations and all applicable quality and compliance requirements. The role also involves creating and rolling out quality procedures, as well as guiding a team of MEP QA/QC professionals.

Key responsibilities

  • Put quality control plans and procedures into practice and ensure they align with industry, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify that all delivered outputs meet or exceed client expectations and comply with quality standards.
  • Carry out regular audits to check adherence to established quality systems and procedures.
  • Partner with functional managers to spot quality issues, resolve them, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the non-conformance and corrective action workflow to ensure issues are addressed quickly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and current quality records and ensure proper storage and document control.
  • Create and conduct quality training sessions so employees understand quality standards and procedures.
  • Review, supervise, and update QA/QC plans, including changes and revisions, to satisfy project quality needs and client expectations.
  • Set project quality objectives that support IMS corporate goals and monitor QA/QC report submissions.
  • Develop and manage a control system for suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Attend and support all relevant meetings and coordinate project quality requirements with the owner, consultant, and project management team.
  • Support HSE initiatives, join safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in line with company and IMS policies.

Experience and education

Candidates should have at least 15 years of total work experience, including 10 years in a relevant role. GCC experience of 5 years is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required. A Lead Auditor certification in ISO 9001, or an equivalent qualification, is also needed.

Additional information

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and is a full-time onsite role.
