Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated QA/QC MEP Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This full-time, on-site position requires a professional to provide technical support within our MEP trading operations, ensuring that all materials and products meet stringent quality and compliance standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate material submittals and technical documentation related to MEP components.
- Examine product datasheets, catalogs, drawings, and documents provided by manufacturers.
- Validate the technical compliance of MEP materials according to project specifications.
- Create compliance statements, perform technical comparisons, and prepare deviation reports as necessary.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, consultants, and internal teams to clarify technical details.
- Assist in the selection of products and offer technical guidance based on expertise.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience within MEP materials, contracting, trading, or construction sectors.
- Sound knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
- Capability to interpret complex technical specifications and engineering documents effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skill set.
