Role summary

As the Receptionist for SO/ Ras Al Khaimah in the All-Inclusive Collection, you will be the first person guests meet. Your role is to deliver a smooth, polished, and welcoming arrival and departure experience, support guest needs throughout their stay, and represent the brand’s vibrant and stylish character at the front desk.

Core responsibilities

  • Greet arriving guests in a warm and professional manner to create an excellent first impression.
  • Process arrivals and departures accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle reservations, room allocations, and updates in the property management system.
  • Reply quickly and courteously to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
  • Share details about hotel facilities, services, offers, and nearby attractions.
  • Work closely with housekeeping, bell staff, and concierge teams to keep guest service seamless.
  • Keep guest records, billing details, and payment information accurate and up to date.
  • Manage cash handling, card payments, and point-of-sale transactions with care.
  • Support VIP arrivals and special guest requirements to improve satisfaction.
  • Maintain grooming, presentation, and service standards aligned with the SO/ brand.
  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at the front desk.
  • Promote hotel packages, services, and special offers to enhance the guest experience and support revenue.
  • Assist the Front Office Supervisor and Manager with reports, audits, and routine administrative work.

Requirements

  • Prior work as a receptionist or front office associate in a luxury hotel or resort is preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal ability with a guest-first mindset.
  • Good organization skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with PMS platforms, reservations processes, and front office procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Professional presentation, confident manner, and comfort working to brand standards.
  • Strong English communication skills; other languages are a plus.
  • Sound judgment and tact when resolving guest complaints.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
