Role Overview
Join our team at Skill as a Recruiter based in Union Square, New York, working on-site with a hybrid schedule. You will play a critical role in advancing recruitment initiatives by managing the entire hiring process in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Your efforts will support reorganizational projects and ensure smooth onboarding, including for unionized workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end recruitment for numerous open positions, maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Assist recruitment staff with essential duties and partake in significant reorganization programs.
- Help facilitate thorough orientation sessions for new hires, especially union employees.
- Utilize multiple job boards and recruitment technologies to attract premier talent.
- Efficiently screen resumes and oversee large candidate pools using Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Develop and update detailed Excel trackers covering extensive recruitment data and weekly activity reporting.
- Work in close collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve hiring goals aligned with organizational strategies.
- Adapt and remain accurate amid shifting priorities and a fast-moving environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least five years of experience managing high-volume recruitment with competing priorities.
- Solid background in full-cycle recruiting, including resume screening and ATS management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel for complex spreadsheet creation and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated success working collaboratively to meet recruitment targets.

- Experience recruiting within unionized workplaces.
- Consistent history of meeting strict deadlines and recruiting goals.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and remarkable accuracy in statistical reporting.
- Proactive and assertive personality, capable of aligning and motivating a recruitment team.
- Experience recruiting technical or specialized roles, especially in regulated sectors.
- Background in auditing or compliance is advantageous.
