Role Overview

The Research Analyst will support the GLASfunds Research Team by sourcing, conducting due diligence, and monitoring third-party managed strategies that include private capital, hedge funds, and tax-aware investment solutions. This role also involves client and prospect engagement, fund onboarding processes, content creation, and various analytical assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in comprehensive research activities for potential GLASfunds platform inclusions such as sourcing leads, performing initial assessments, managing manager interactions including calls and onsite meetings, conducting both quantitative and qualitative due diligence, performing reference checks, and preparing detailed reports and communications.
  • Provide coverage and communicate performance updates and significant developments of existing platform strategies, primarily by producing quarterly and annual analytical reports.
  • Engage in client and prospect meetings to offer expertise on a range of investment strategies as needed.
  • Support colleagues within GLASfunds by sharing expertise and assisting with various tasks when required.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through development of insightful content related to the investment field.
  • Dedicate efforts towards continual personal and professional growth by seeking certifications, advanced degrees, attending conferences, and leveraging online educational platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree mandatory.
  • Between zero and three years of experience in investment analysis or a related function.
  • Strong communication skills adaptable to various channels and audiences.
  • Proficient use of technology, including artificial intelligence tools, to optimize efficiency in workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Progress toward investment certifications such as CFA or CAIA highly valued.
  • Experience in private capital or hedge fund sectors preferred.
