Research Engineer - Remote Contract Role

Position Overview

We are seeking an Engineering Expert for a contract role offering $20 to $40 per hour. This position is fully remote, requiring a commitment of 10 to 40 hours weekly. The primary function involves reviewing and analyzing technical reports and engineering design documents to ensure accuracy and quality.

Key Duties

• Examine engineering documentation in detail, such as technical reports and design specs.
• Offer comprehensive written feedback and expert commentary on complex engineering situations.
• Assess engineering submissions from diverse disciplines for clarity, completeness, and correctness.
• Create realistic engineering examples and problem sets to assist AI model training efforts.
• Work alongside the micro1 team to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met successfully.
• Share industry best practices and technical insights to improve project methodologies.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in generating detailed technical reports and design documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and precision.
• Experience explaining complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• History of involvement in multidisciplinary or cross-functional engineering assignments.
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory compliance, or quality assurance protocols is advantageous.
