Role Insight
The Runner plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth delivery of food and beverages, collaborating closely with waiters, bartenders, and kitchen staff to maintain efficient service flow and uphold the highest standards. This role requires energy, teamwork, and precise attention in a fast-paced environment, supporting both refined dining experiences and large-scale event operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering an excellent guest experience by promptly and accurately serving food and drinks, maintaining awareness of service areas and guest needs.
- Ensure safe and professional handling of food and beverages while liaising effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to resolve any discrepancies.
- Support table clearing and resetting to sustain service momentum and guest satisfaction.
- Participate in opening and closing duties, keeping service stations well-stocked, orderly, and ready for use.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and service presentation standards throughout operational hours, adapting to busy events such as matchdays.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless coordination between front- and back-of-house functions, aiding colleagues whenever necessary.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and food safety policies while demonstrating professionalism and positive brand representation.
