Safety Officer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer for our Jeddah project site to ensure occupational health and safety standards are rigorously maintained throughout the construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and enforce health and safety protocols on the project premises.
• Perform daily inspections of the site to identify and address unsafe conditions and behaviors.
• Oversee work procedures to guarantee adherence to established safety regulations.
• Manage follow-up on safety observations and ensure corrective measures are implemented effectively.
• Engage in risk assessment exercises and identify potential hazards timely.
• Ensure the proper application of the Permit to Work (PTW) system to control hazardous work.
• Lead daily toolbox meetings and conduct safety briefings to enhance workforce awareness.
• Foster a proactive safety culture and support efforts for ongoing safety improvements.

Candidate Requirements

• At least two years of professional experience as a Safety Officer within construction or infrastructure sectors.
• Holding recognized certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH or OSHA.
• In-depth understanding of occupational health and safety laws and standards.
• Proven expertise in conducting site inspections, risk evaluations, and managing the PTW system.
• Excellent communication skills, competent in reporting, and able to work well within a team.
