SAP ABAP HANA Developer

Role overview

HCLTech is looking for a SAP ABAP HANA Developer in Vijayawada to lead technical work around SAP ABAP solutions and support business-critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and support technical teams while building and rolling out SAP ABAP solutions.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and turn them into technical specifications.
• Create, develop, and validate SAP ABAP programs that improve and support business workflows.
• Offer technical input for system improvements, upgrades, and integrations.
• Investigate issues and fix technical problems so systems remain stable and efficient.
• Keep up with current SAP practices and industry developments to improve solution quality.

Skills and technical requirements

• Solid grounding in SAP ABAP fundamentals.
• Hands-on knowledge of ABAP Data Dictionary.
• Experience with report programming.
• Understanding of module pool programming.
• Familiarity with function module programming.
• Working knowledge of Enhancement Framework.
• Ability to work with SAP UI5/Fiori, Web Dynpro ABAP, and SAP Workflow.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP Cloud Platform.
• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of EDI concepts.
• API development/integration skills.
