Sawmill Utility Worker (Probationary)

Position Summary

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Cottonton, AL sawmill team as Sawmill Utility Workers. This role primarily supports sawmill operators by assisting with wood marking, banding, and facilitating reruns between the edger, stacker, and tipple operator stations. The job entails both indoor and outdoor tasks with exposure to varying weather and temperature conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting pay of $17.14 per hour during probation, increasing to $17.43 per hour post-probation

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Capable of maintaining safety standards at all times during work
• Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts
• At least one year of prior work experience
