Role Overview

• Plan, conduct, and evaluate experiments for biotechnological development projects with a focus on Downstream Processing (DSP) of proteins and DNA.
• Apply chromatographic and filtration techniques to purify biopharmaceutical products.
• Utilize appropriate analytical methods to characterize processes and products.
• Take ownership of sub-projects, driving them independently forward.
• Actively support the organization and ongoing development of laboratory operations.
• Accompany scale-up processes and technology transfers into pilot and production scales.
• Independently conduct structured literature research in both German and English.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including Upstream Processing, Analytics, and Production, to develop holistic solutions.
• Prepare scientific reports, presentations, SOPs, and safety-related documentation.

Candidate Profile

• Completed degree in biosciences, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
• Experience in enzyme purification, ideally extended to DNA purification.
• Preferable knowledge in protein and DNA analytics.
• GMP knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Structured, independent, and responsible work style.
• Strong team orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.
