Role Overview
This opportunity sits within an IT consulting and software development environment. The role is designed for an experienced Scrum Master who can guide Agile software teams, support steady delivery, and help create a productive, collaborative working rhythm.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Scrum ceremonies for software teams working in two-week sprints.
- Coordinate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile meetings.
- Work with stakeholders to improve delivery results and monitor team progress.
- Clear blockers that slow the team down and keep work moving efficiently.
- Coach junior teammates and reinforce Agile ways of working across the team.
What You’ll Need
The employer is looking for someone with a strong background in software delivery and Agile program support, along with excellent communication and facilitation abilities. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is preferred, though equivalent experience may also be considered.
Preferred Experience
Additional value will be given to candidates with an Agile certification such as CSM, PMI-ACP, CSP, SAFe, or a similar credential. Experience with Identity and Access Management, authentication, or SSO platforms is also beneficial, as is prior work supporting federal government agencies.
