Role Overview

We are seeking a Security Manager based in the United Kingdom in a full-time position that blends on-site presence with flexible remote working. The incumbent will be responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and supervision of security protocols aimed at safeguarding personnel, information, and physical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess client-specific security needs to formulate robust security plans and procedures.
  • Execute and oversee physical security initiatives protecting assets, staff, and property.
  • Lead and assign duties to security personnel across diverse locations.
  • Perform comprehensive site risk evaluations, audits, and inspections ensuring full legal and company compliance.
  • Manage emergency responses, conduct investigations, and document security incidents.
  • Ensure adherence to Security Industry Authority licensing and relevant UK legislation.
  • Coach, train, and evaluate security workforce performance.
  • Engage with clients to provide expert security guidance and uphold service excellence.
  • Maintain detailed records including incident logs, personnel files, and compliance documentation.
  • Support operational planning such as roster organization and staff coordination.
  • Monitor service quality and implement enhancements as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in physical security management including access control, surveillance systems, and incident management.
  • Capability to design and enforce security standards and training programs for technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address security incidents.
  • Strong communication proficiency for report writing and liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience operating effectively in a hybrid work model, balancing office, onsite responsibilities, and collaboration with management.
  • At least 2-3 years in supervisory or managerial roles within security operations.
  • Deep understanding of security operations and risk evaluation.
  • Proven ability to supervise teams and manage security on multiple sites.
  • Competence in assessing potential threats and delivering suitable incident response.

Compensation

The position offers an annual salary ranging from 33,400 to 35,000, dependent on experience.
