Work location

This is an on-site role based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Team members are expected to work from the assigned job location.

Role overview

The selected person will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of around 100 to 120 partner accounts in the assigned territory. The exact partner count and revenue targets will vary depending on the India 1 and India 2 markets and the specific geographies allocated.

Account and partner management

  • Bring new partners on board by clarifying requirements and coordinating with internal teams.
  • Drive revenue by getting partners enrolled in advertising solutions.
  • Visit existing partners regularly and keep their Restaurant Display Page information accurate, with strong image coverage.
  • Pitch the value of Dine Out plans and promotions in a convincing way so partners continue investing month after month.
  • Carry out growth initiatives such as offer coordination and marketing operations alignment so campaigns and events go live as planned.
  • Handle customer- and partner-facing issues such as diner denied payouts and help keep transactions smooth.
  • Create account-wise growth plans and collect intelligence on competitor actions.

Data analysis and business performance

  • Use restaurant dashboards to identify the right data points and explain important performance metrics to partners.
  • Ask partners for the inputs or changes needed to improve the display page and support better conversions.
  • Track competitor investment through on-ground observation, discussions with partners and competition sales teams, and inputs from delivery personnel.
  • Make sure partner investment stays at or above competition levels across discounts, commissions, and ads, using dashboard insights to explain the business value.

Stakeholder coordination

  • Work closely with partner support teams on discount updates, Restaurant Display Page changes, and related issues.
  • Coordinate with sales operations for comparison data and seasonal or festival inputs.
  • Liaise with finance on payout reconciliation, GST-related questions, and cases where amounts have not been credited to partner accounts.

Core competencies

  • Clear understanding of Dine Out offerings and the main growth drivers for the business.
  • Working knowledge of key restaurant metrics such as operating hours, ad revenue per order, commission revenue per order, and average order value.
  • Familiarity with dashboard tools such as CMS, Power BI, Compass, and Salesmate.
  • Strong grasp of conversion funnels and account performance across week-wise, month-wise, and day-wise transaction trends, denial rates, and supply metrics versus competitors.

Ideal background

  • Prior experience in account management, ad sales, or B2B sales.
  • Experience with premium or enterprise clients is highly preferred.
  • Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and presentations.
  • Comfortable working with data, dashboards, and performance indicators.
  • Strong ownership, client-facing confidence, and a results-focused mindset.
  • Understanding of e-commerce activity or the food industry.
  • Confident, pleasant, and proactive personality.
