Senior Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned General Accounts Manager to lead and manage comprehensive accounting functions within our manufacturing environment located in Sodala, Jaipur. The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing financial reporting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, costing, and statutory requirements, with an emphasis on detailed and accurate accounting practices.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct daily financial and accounting operations efficiently.
• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements, management information systems (MIS) reports, and other critical management reports.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory taxation laws and requirements.
• Oversee and monitor Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes thoroughly.
• Perform bank reconciliations, detailed ledger review, and finalization of accounts at period ends.
• Manage inventory accounting and stock reconciliations, focusing on raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods valuation.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and provide insights for cost control.
• Collaborate and coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government agencies to ensure smooth compliance.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities efficiently and accurately.
• Oversee cash flow management, budgeting, and financial planning activities.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and accounting protocols.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team to enhance skills and productivity.
• Preferred: Manage export accounting activities including documentation, export invoices, shipping documentation, LUT/Bond filings, export incentives, and compliance coordination.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 6 to 7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• At least 2 years of experience within a manufacturing sector is essential.
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency with GST, TDS, Income Tax compliance, and other statutory tax frameworks.
• Strong capabilities in costing, inventory accounting, and stock reconciliation processes.
• Advanced skills in Tally Prime or ERP systems and MS Excel tools such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and MIS reporting.
• Experienced in financial reporting, audit preparations, and finalization of accounts.
• Knowledge of export accounting and documentation will be considered a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills complemented by leadership and communication abilities.

Educational Qualifications

Degree holders in B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or CA Inter are preferred. Additional certifications related to accounting, taxation, or export documentation will enhance candidature.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates would have prior involvement in manufacturing or industrial production settings, a thorough grasp of factory-accounting, inventory management, and cost accounting. An eye for detail, outstanding organizational skills, self-motivation, and the capability to meet deadlines independently are crucial for success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary range: INR 20,000 to 45,000.
