Role Purpose
The Senior Analyst will work closely with Consumer Packaged Goods clients to build strong partnerships and deliver valuable business insights. The position involves analyzing diverse data sets to understand client needs and support their business objectives effectively. Collaboration within the team and client organizations is integral to this role.
Qualifications and Skills
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline
- Minimum of four years' experience in marketing, retail, or category management
- Robust analytical capabilities, preferably within the CPG or retail sectors
- Proven skill in extracting actionable insights from data to tackle client business challenges
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Strong skills in client relationship management and building trust
- Familiarity with NielsenIQ products and services is advantageous
- Innovative mindset with an eagerness to challenge existing norms
- Ability to multitask and independently make decisions with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach
- Advanced technical proficiency including data manipulation, expertise in Excel, and competency with technologies like Power BI and Tableau
- Accountability, a results-oriented attitude, and openness to ongoing learning
- Entrepreneurial sales approach with effective client influence skills
