Job description
Role Overview
The Senior Document Controller will oversee comprehensive document management processes including archiving and digital imaging, playing a critical role in ensuring effective information flow within construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain an organized filing system that facilitates effective management of information.
- Manage the dispatch and receipt of documents among internal teams and external parties; prepare and revise contractual paperwork.
- Ensure all documentation complies fully with applicable legal and regulatory standards.
- Regularly perform audits to verify accuracy and currency of all records.
- Generate daily Requests for Inspection pertinent to construction activities.
- Coordinate closely with on-site Quality, Planning, and Safety (QPS) teams.
- Uphold workplace safety standards and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Between one to three years of prior experience in the construction sector.
- Strong technical understanding of construction processes.
- Proficient in reading technical drawings.
- Excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
