Role overview
This position is for an Accounts Payable professional within the India Business support function. The team manages payment-related work for field-facing operations, including hotel bills, car hire charges, employee reimbursements, other vendor invoices, and end-to-end payment handling.
The role focuses on supporting complete accounts payable processing through VIM and SAP, while following the organization’s standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable items linked to hotels, car rentals, employee reimbursements, and other vendor payments.
- Support the creation of vendor codes and enable NEFT setup.
- Assist the payments team with preparing bank payment entries.
Skills and system knowledge
- Working understanding of withholding tax (TDS) and GST rules.
- Exposure to VIM and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, work with limited supervision, and communicate clearly in both written and spoken form.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Eligibility and experience
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and bring 2 to 3 years of experience, preferably in accounts payable within the pharmaceutical sector.
