Key responsibilities

• Work in partnership with teams across the organisation to spot risks early and support better decision-making.
• Serve as a dependable point of contact for assurance activities, including audit and governance requirements.
• Manage and develop a geographically spread team, strengthening capability and encouraging accountability.
• Promote process improvements through simplification, standardisation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience, gained in a complex and fast-changing organisation. Experience in a listed company environment is advantageous.

You should bring intellectual curiosity, a practical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively through ambiguity and change. Strong communication and influencing skills are important, along with the ability to earn trust across different teams.
