About the Role

Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd. (SSMC) is a joint venture between NXP and TSMC that provides flexible and cost-efficient semiconductor fabrication services. Operating within a fully-equipped SMIF cleanroom environment featuring full automation and proven manufacturing techniques, SSMC seeks a skilled and innovative Senior Industrial Engineer to join the diverse Industrial Engineer Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and refine capacity planning methods to ensure precision.
• Improve equipment utilization and implement conversion or other capacity enhancement initiatives to meet production targets.
• Design layout plans for production equipment based on operational demands.
• Coordinate timely equipment installation and release to align with production schedules.
• Lead Tool-to-Tool Matching including Golden/Lemon benchmarking and Best-In-Class performance evaluations.
• Keep the tool capacity and productivity database up to date for planning and tracking purposes.
• Manage capital budgets reflecting equipment needs for capacity variety and new technology rollouts.
• Develop standard costing methods and oversee weekly, quarterly, and annual standard costing activities.
• Oversee cost management including forecasting, tracking, analysis, benchmarking, and improvement efforts.
• Manage people productivity and coordinate related initiatives.
• Drive and lead continuous improvement projects and disseminate best-known methods.
• Engage in strategic planning for capacity expansion, tool and workforce productivity, and cost reduction.
• Lead efforts in productivity automation and headcount planning.
• Conduct business continuity management and risk assessments.
• Enhance existing systems and refine methodologies and modeling approaches.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training for new engineers and associate engineers.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Possesses knowledge of semiconductor processes and industrial engineering tools specific to the semiconductor industry.
• Proficient with MS Office, MS Access, VBA, SQL, Oracle, Cognos, and AutoCAD software.
• Demonstrates strong communication and presentation capabilities.
• Exemplifies teamwork and exhibits strong problem-solving abilities.
