Job description
Position Overview and Responsibilities
The Senior Procurement Manager will spearhead the formulation and implementation of procurement strategies, category plans, and sourcing roadmaps that align with the company's goals. This role involves overseeing all procurement and contracting operations while ensuring strict compliance with established policies, procedures, and delegated authorities.
- Approve and review complex purchase requisitions, tender strategies, commercial assessments, negotiation results, and award recommendations.
- Address and resolve internal and external audit findings by instituting lasting corrective measures and enhancing controls.
- Advise senior stakeholders on procurement best practices, risk mitigation tactics, commercial structuring, and compliance obligations.
- Lead critical negotiations with suppliers and contractors to achieve advantageous commercial and contractual terms.
- Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, Technical, and other departments to ensure all contractual, financial, and operational needs are met.
- Champion initiatives to continuously improve procurement governance, increase efficiency, drive digitalization, and mature processes.
- Guide, mentor, and develop the procurement team to strengthen organizational capabilities and ensure exceptional performance.
- Monitor supplier performance, market insights, and commercial risks to support informed strategic decisions.
Educational Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Law, or related disciplines is required. A Master's degree is preferred for this position.

- Possesses strong analytical, negotiation, and advisory skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail paired with a strong focus on compliance and risk management.
- Capability to lead transformation projects and manage cross-functional initiatives effectively.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in procurement, contract management, or commercial roles, including no less than 5 years in managerial or leadership positions.
