About the Role
An exceptional chance has emerged for an experienced Senior Site Manager to relocate permanently to Canada and join the construction division of one of the country's leading contractors. This company specializes in large-scale projects across multiple sectors such as high-rise buildings, commercial centers, healthcare facilities, airports, defense, and education. This role offers a life-changing career move for candidates who have successfully overseen large building projects exceeding $100 million CAD.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations to ensure projects adhere to schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate site logistics and enforce strict safety measures.
- Maintain communication with stakeholders to align project objectives.
- Manage post-construction processes including warranty services, account finalization, issue resolution, and site closure.
- Lead and mentor site personnel, harmonize HR activities with organizational goals, and conduct staff performance reviews.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess a Degree, Diploma, or Trade Certification in Construction Management or Engineering.
- Have accumulated more than 10 years of construction or site management experience within a building main contractor environment.
- Demonstrated history managing projects valued above $100 million CAD.
- Strong mastery of construction practices and industry standards.
- Skilled in contract administration, interpreting technical drawings, understanding specifications, and applying relevant building codes.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam, and PlanGrid software tools.
- Ready to relocate permanently to Canada within a 6 to 9-month timeframe.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary package ranging from $175,000 to $220,000 CAD (equivalent to €120k - €150k), including a vehicle allowance.
