Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Silkscreen Trainee position in Canton, MI involves supporting the setup and operation of silkscreen printing equipment. Responsibilities include preparing screens, mixing inks, organizing materials, aligning garments, monitoring print quality, cleaning equipment, and maintaining an orderly workspace. The role emphasizes safety adherence, mastering tool and machine use, assisting senior printers, and meeting production timelines and quality standards. Trainees receive practical training in silkscreen printing techniques with growth potential within the company.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to learn basic silkscreen operations such as equipment setup, handling materials, and inspecting print quality.
• Basic mechanical skills and comfort working with production machinery and tools.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and commitment to follow safety and quality guidelines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a production environment.
• Physical capability to stand long hours, lift and move garments or boxes, and work in a fast-paced setting.
• Positive mindset, eagerness to learn, and receptiveness to feedback and training.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, printing, or apparel decoration is advantageous but not mandatory.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
