Role Overview
The Site Supervisor will oversee hardware and software specialists, including employees and subcontractors, while managing the repair and maintenance of ACMI hardware, software, and related subsystems to the required technical standards. The role covers both the repair facility and flight operations areas and also includes direct interaction with Royal Saudi Air Force command teams as needed.
This position also supports exercises and performs duties as a Digital Display System Operator and Hardware Repair Specialist (Pod Tech). In addition, the role is responsible for meeting contractual reporting requirements related to equipment serviceability, availability, and performance during training exercises.
Key Duties
- Lead ACMI support personnel, including Pod Techs, DDSOs, subcontractors, and RSAF staff assigned to ACMI support.
- Carry out and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned electronic equipment.
- Interpret schematics, parts lists, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and customer specifications to identify the correct test equipment and repair approach.
- Ensure the RSAF receives strong service during equipment issue and return processes, including preparation, documentation, and full accountability for equipment condition and operability.
- Run the warehouse database used for ACMI tracking and reporting to maintain parts availability and maintenance timeliness records.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the warehouse and workshop repair teams, aligning resources with company and RSAF needs.
- Develop and maintain staffing coverage plans for issue, maintenance, and repair activities during exercise periods.
- Track, audit, and control equipment shipments and receipts.
- Review work methods and administrative processes for warehouse and workshop repair staff.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports required under the contract for the RSAF and Program Manager.
- Conduct regular inventory checks in the workshop and warehouse in line with RSAF and company procedures.
- Maintain complete accountability for classified documents, equipment, and tools, while enforcing security checks and delivering classification security training to staff and subcontractors.
- Respond promptly to security and classification queries in line with government and company rules.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support team duties whenever needed to ensure uninterrupted customer service.
- Follow Cubic values, policies, and procedures, including conduct, quality, security, and occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Take on additional responsibilities assigned by the Program Manager when reasonably required.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering with a focus on electronics, aviation, or communications, or an equivalent background with at least 12 years in a military-related technical field.
- At least 3 years of management experience, or 5 years as an assistant manager in a technical environment.
- Strong working knowledge of radar and radio technologies.
- Excellent English ability in reading, speaking, and writing.
- Capability to obtain and maintain a KSA-MOD National Security Clearance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Comfort and credibility in instructing others.
- Proven English proficiency such as TOEFL or STEP certification.
- Preferred military backgrounds include US Air Force, US Marine Corps, US Navy, or US Army technical specialties such as aviation weapons loader, avionics technician, electrician, air defense radar operator, radar technician, communications technician, UAV technician, air defense artillery radar repair technician, or armament technician.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, teamwork, self-motivation, and the ability to stay organized while handling multiple priorities under pressure.
