Role summary
We are hiring a Content and Social Media Lead to shape and grow the brand’s digital footprint. This position combines content planning, social platform execution, influencer partnerships, team leadership, and support for special initiatives such as on-ground activations and Nykaaland-related projects. The ideal candidate should bring a strategic mindset, strong awareness of trends in Beauty, Fashion, and Personal Care, and a sharp focus on content that drives measurable performance.
Content and social media strategy
- Build and run a complete social content plan that reflects the brand’s positioning.
- Design communication plans for new product launches and execute them across channels.
- Track how content performs, interpret key metrics, and connect results to business outcomes.
- Work closely with the Central Marketing team to keep brand messaging aligned across the organization.
- Lead the always-on strategy for core products to improve relevance and visibility.
- Own organic engagement targets and work toward meeting monthly and annual KPIs.
- Review and report on impressions, engagement rate, reach, and subscriber trends on a regular basis.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, presentations, pitches, and performance reviews.
- Spot emerging Instagram trends and use them to strengthen the brand’s presence.
- Conceptualize and execute brand IP campaigns that help build a distinct identity.
Influencer marketing
- Develop influencer plans for new launches.
- Shortlist and onboard creators who fit the brand’s tone, target audience, budget, and negotiation framework.
- Coordinate with the NAPpers team to keep influencer collaborations cost-effective.
- Give clear creative guidance so influencer output stays aligned with brand messaging.
- Conceptualize and execute BCA assets.
- Measure influencer reach and assess campaign performance.
Team leadership
- Make sure team members own their projects and deliverables.
- Keep internal and external coordination running smoothly.
- Ensure workflows are followed and tasks are completed in an organized manner.
- Share regular, constructive feedback with team members.
- Run weekly discussions that encourage fresh ideas and stronger content output.
Experience and qualifications
This role calls for 7 to 9 years of experience in content strategy, social media management, and influencer marketing. Experience in Beauty, Fashion, Bath & Body, or Perfumery is preferred, though not compulsory. The position includes 3 to 4 direct reportees. Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple workstreams, analyzing performance data, leading teams, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
