Job Summary
This role involves delivering and collecting packages from both residential and commercial addresses. It requires working in a physically demanding, fast-paced setting, including driving and repeatedly lifting, lowering, and carrying packages. The job emphasizes safe transportation practices while traveling and aims to provide excellent customer service through efficiency and dedication.
Responsibilities
- Learn and correctly apply UPS safe driving procedures.
Requirements
- Capability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds (32 kilograms).
- Experience driving a manual transmission van.
- Compliance with UPS appearance standards.
- Strong driving skills and excellent customer interaction abilities.
- Meet local age and operational criteria for vehicle operation.
- Available to work five days per week.
