Job Responsibilities

• Design and execute high-quality layouts for analog components with over seven years of layout experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in Cadence VXL, particularly for periphery blocks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve LVS, DRC, and layout-related issues efficiently.
• Create layouts for critical analog blocks including temperature sensors, PLL, ADC, DAC, LDO, bandgap references, charge pumps, current mirrors, comparators, and differential amplifiers.
• Apply analog layout principles encompassing matching, electromigration mitigation, latch-up prevention, coupling, crosstalk, IR-drop considerations, and parasitic device handling.
• Understand and influence circuit performance metrics such as speed, capacitance, power consumption, and area through effective layout design.
• Manage overall layout workflow including floorplanning, placement, and routing tasks.
• Ensure adherence to design rules and quality standards delivering layouts within core/pitch and periphery areas.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, technical design (TD), CAD, and layout teams to support digital, analog, and array circuit layout and verification.
• Perform secondary layout activities like ECOs, LCOs, and design for manufacturability (DFM) enhancements.
• Lead scheduling and coordination tasks to meet deadlines while ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot issues with strong problem-solving skills, negotiating solutions across engineering teams to meet all process and engineering criteria for NAND products.
• Prioritize resources and develop strategies for resolving roadblocks creatively and proactively.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of circuit design protocols, fabrication processes, mask generation, and tape-out methodologies.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Drive innovation and contribute to future memory technology development in a dynamic environment.
• Experience supporting multiple tape-outs is advantageous.
• Leverage automation and AI tools to enhance layout efficiency and quality.
