Job Overview and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils, dishes, glassware, and equipment meticulously.
• Operate dishwashing machines efficiently while handling cleaning tools properly.
• Maintain the tidiness and cleanliness of kitchen areas, stewarding zones, and storage rooms.
• Handle waste disposal and segregate garbage according to hygiene guidelines.
• Assist in organizing and storing cleaned items appropriately.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards consistently.
• Provide support to the kitchen staff by performing basic cleaning and operational duties as needed.
• Promptly notify supervisors about any equipment faults or maintenance needs.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a stewarding or dishwasher role is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Fundamental knowledge of hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Capability to perform in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting.
• Cooperative team player with a positive mindset and accountability.
• Availability to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays.
