Job Overview

This role involves managing the precise winding of low and high voltage coils for oil-cooled and dry-type transformers in accordance with specified design parameters and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute coil winding operations for distribution and power transformers up to 5 MVA capacity.
• Operate winding machines and associated equipment including tensioners and insulation applicators.
• Interpret and implement engineering blueprints and design specifications accurately.
• Ensure compliance with quality measures outlined in IS/IEC standards.
• Manage tap lead connections, insulation between layers, and support the core assembly process.
• Keep detailed records of materials used and enforce discipline on the production floor.

Requirements

• Completion of ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with copper and aluminum wire winding processes and insulating materials.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical drawings and coil winding data sheets.
