Job description

Job Synopsis

The Supply Chain Coordinator position involves managing inventory levels, processing orders, liaising with suppliers, and tracking shipments to ensure smooth operations from suppliers to customers. Key skills required include strong organizational capabilities, acute attention to detail, proficiency in computer software (notably MS Office and ERP systems), and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee inventory by monitoring stock, conducting physical inventories, and keeping precise records.
  • Manage order processing, including order fulfillment cycles and preparing necessary documents.
  • Coordinate logistics by tracking shipments, collaborating with logistics providers, and ensuring punctual deliveries aligned with production timelines.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teams such as production, logistics, and quality to address and resolve discrepancies or issues.
  • Support report preparation and analyze supply chain data while monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Keep accurate records for inward and outward goods to comply with Revenue audits.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant area such as logistics or business.
  • Have prior experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate strong technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP software such as SAP.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and maintain detailed records in dynamic settings.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills for effective engagement with varied stakeholders.
  • Display analytical ability to collect, evaluate, and interpret supply chain data for trend identification and process improvement.
  • Showcase high IT literacy encompassing ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Bring a proactive, solution-oriented approach to resolving operational challenges.
  • Maintain strict attention to detail to manage inventory and documentation with accuracy.
  • Be authorized for permanent work in Ireland and reside within easy commuting distance or willing to relocate to North Wicklow.
