Surveillance Security Guard

About the Role

Join a leading security services provider as a Surveillance Security Guard based in Hamilton, Ontario. This position involves vigilant monitoring of multiple screens to detect threats before they escalate in locations such as security operation centers, call centers, construction sites, parking lots, and gatehouses.

Schedule and Location

This role operates Monday through Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM at postcode L8S 1C3, Hamilton, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance systems to identify any suspicious behavior
• Respond promptly to incidents or potential security threats
• Record detailed reports of observed events and security breaches
• Perform regular foot patrols to maintain safety across premises
• Manage secure area access and verify visitor credentials
• Evaluate security equipment for vulnerabilities or faults
• Collaborate with law enforcement during emergencies or critical situations

Qualifications and Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in Canada
• Possession of a valid security license
• Certification in first aid
• Excellent report writing capabilities
• Sharp eyesight with strong concentration skills
• Proficient with security-related technology
• Ability to remain on feet and walk throughout the duration of the shift
