The Role
We have an open permanent full-time vacancy with the Electrical Educational Delivery team based mainly at Acacia Ridge, with potential work at other TAFE Queensland campuses. Mandatory Requirements
- Possession of UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, or equivalent qualification
- Current, relevant industry skills aligned to the training and assessment delivered
- Up-to-date knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning methodologies
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in vocational training and competency-based assessment
Additionally, candidates must hold or be prepared to attain a qualification in adult education, preferably TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or an equivalent certification. Prior teaching experience is not essential as training and mentoring will be provided, but possession of relevant qualifications, industry experience, and a positive attitude are vital.
Proof of qualifications and current industry experience will be required during the interview process.
