About the Role

Havas Media Network is looking for a resourceful and highly organized Contract Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support the North American Talent Acquisition function. This is a fully remote contract position where you will handle the operational side of recruitment, manage interview coordination, support candidate pipelines, and help ensure every applicant has a smooth, professional, and welcoming experience with the Havas brand.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate interviews from start to finish, including complex multi-round scheduling across different time zones and alignment with hiring managers, creative directors, and media leadership.
  • Act as the main contact for candidates during the hiring process, keeping communication timely, explaining virtual interview details, and helping create a positive candidate journey.
  • Keep the applicant tracking system current by updating candidate records, job listings, and hiring stages accurately.
  • Support recruiters by publishing job openings across multiple channels, monitoring incoming applications, and completing initial resume screening for basic fit.
  • Assist with pre-employment coordination and hand off selected candidates to HR Operations and Onboarding teams for final contract setup.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in recruitment coordination, HR administration, or a similar high-volume scheduling role, preferably in media, creative agency, or technology settings.

Required Skills

  • Practical experience using an applicant tracking system such as Jobvite, Greenhouse, or Workday.
  • Strong command of Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a polished professional style.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to stay organized under changing priorities and schedule conflicts.
  • Independent work style with the discipline to operate effectively in a remote environment.

Work Arrangement

This role is fully remote and requires the candidate to be based in the United States. Availability should align with eastern or central time zone working hours.

Contract Details

The role is offered as an independent contractor position (1099) or through an approved staffing agency partner. The initial contract term is 6 months, with the possibility of extension depending on workload and performance.
