Educational Qualifications

Role Overview and Responsibilities
The TCF Engineer will focus on process and facility planning for TCF assembly lines to ensure world-class manufacturing standards in productivity, quality, and delivery. Key functions include production validation, installation and commissioning support, documentation creation, and involvement in continuous improvement activities.
- Planning and managing processes and facilities for TCF assembly lines.
- Supporting production requirements validation (DFA).
- Participating in problem-solving and prove-out activities online.
- Creating work instructions, process flow diagrams (PFD), PFMEA, control plans, work cell layout (WCL), and station bill of materials (BOM).
- Assisting with equipment installation and commissioning on site.
- Implementing error-proofing devices like Poka-Yoke to improve quality and process.
- Designing tools, fixtures, gauges, and low-cost automation projects to enhance productivity and process quality.
- Supporting prototyping during new product development.
- Serving as a cross-functional team (CFT) member to enhance processes.
- Maintaining documentation related to World Class Quality (WCQ) in TCF.
- Resolving assembly line issues digitally and onsite, including line side TCF problems.
- Maintaining strong communication with customers both verbally and via email.
- Leading root cause analysis and instituting permanent corrective measures for assembly and quality problems.
- Collaborating with internal and external teams to resolve issues efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Ensuring effective implementation and maintenance of process control documentation.
- Participating in cross-functional development teams to meet evolving customer product requirements.
- Keeping updated with manufacturing and engineering trends relevant to product quality.
- Driving continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives.
- Reporting progress and presenting findings at meetings and to clients.
- Committing to ongoing training and professional development.
- Handling special projects as assigned, determining independent approaches to tasks.

- Proficient in process and facility planning for TCF assembly lines.
- Experience with project management and strategic planning.
- Budget management and monitoring for new projects.
- Expertise in simultaneous engineering and design for assembly (DFA) analysis.
- Engineering change management execution.
- Layout planning and implementation.
- Request for quotation (RFQ) preparation and techno-commercial evaluations.
- Hands-on experience with equipment installation and commissioning.
- Line balancing and workstation calculations.
- Planning tightening tools, jigs, and fixtures for assembly lines.
- Creation of process documentation such as PFD, PFMEA, and control plans.
