Overview

Amazon is looking for motivated and diligent individuals to fill the role of Team Lead at our Fulfillment Center in Thane, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ethical work approach, keen attention to detail, and a dedication to meeting deadlines and delivering excellent customer service related to product fulfillment. The role requires familiarity with receiving products using radio frequency scanners and the capability to resolve issues independently. Team Leads must understand all facets of production, uphold strict safety, quality, and productivity standards, and be adaptable to perform various roles within the fulfillment center. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day and night shifts in outbound operations, overseeing labor planning and daily execution across inbound workflows.
  • Prepare SOS (Schedule of Service) plans, allocate workforce, lead daily flow meetings, and assign job responsibilities to Fulfillment Center associates.
  • Monitor and mentor associates focusing on productivity, quality, and safety; effectively lead teams comprising Process Assistants and problem solvers.
  • Analyze shift reports and promptly escalate system-related issues to leadership.
  • Be accountable for shift performance regarding productivity and quality, and implement corresponding action plans.
  • Develop and execute training and development programs to enhance associate skills.
  • Conduct daily 4M (Man, Machine, Material, Method) and 5S audits for assigned workstations to maintain operational efficiency and workplace organization.
  • Ensure associates are equipped with necessary tools, coordinating repairs or replacements as required.
  • Serve as an acting Area Manager when necessary.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong communication skills in English—reading, writing, and speaking fluently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree.
  • Preferred: Minimum of one year experience in a customer-facing role within warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing sectors.
