Role Overview

The Senior Associate Consultant (Technical Business Analyst) in Sydney will play a pivotal role within the Integration Squad for the Collections Transformation Program’s Releases 10 and 11. This position is a 1-year full-time contractual engagement requiring a valid Australian work visa. The specialist analyst will bridge complex technical requirements related to integrations, APIs, interfaces, and cross-platform solutions into actionable documents to support seamless implementation and operational preparedness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document both business and technical requirements focusing on system integrations and interface solutions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed interface specifications, including API requirements, message formats, and data mappings, alongside comprehensive end-to-end process flows.
  • Conduct impact assessments spanning multiple platforms and related applications.
  • Identify and address integration gaps, risks, dependencies, and ensure considerations for ongoing production support are incorporated.
  • Convert requirements into Jira artifacts such as Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria to support agile delivery.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, and delivery activities.
  • Guarantee traceability and testability of requirements aligned with business goals and solution targets.
  • Collaborate closely with development, testing teams, product owners, architects, engineers, delivery leads, and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and delivery success.
  • Lead stakeholder communications including workshops, solution discussions, walkthroughs, and design reviews to align expectations and progress.
  • Contribute to governance processes including solution design reviews, change management, release readiness, and documentation quality.
  • Support audit, regulatory compliance, operational readiness, and production deployment efforts.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Extensive background as a Technical Business Analyst within integration-intensive large enterprise programs.
  • Proven expertise in analyzing complex system integrations, API frameworks, interface specifications, and data flow diagrams.
  • Sound knowledge of application architectures, integration methodologies, and enterprise delivery frameworks.
  • Experience in creating process models, data mappings, business and technical documentation.
  • Advanced capabilities in stakeholder engagement and facilitating workshops.
  • Strong familiarity working in Agile/SAFe environments, using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, and BPMN.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous exposure to the financial services sector and involvement in large transformational initiatives.
  • Domain knowledge in Collections, Customer Assist, Lending, Mortgage, or Equipment Finance.
  • Experience with cloud technologies, event-driven architectures, and API platforms.
  • Understanding of banking technologies and enterprise integration standards.
