Job Overview
Saudi Constructioneers Ltd. is seeking a capable and detail-oriented Technical Mechanical Engineer to support project execution. This role focuses on mechanical technical support, documentation review, stakeholder coordination, and confirming that all mechanical works align with the project’s approved specifications, standards, and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine mechanical drawings, technical submissions, and project specifications to verify compliance.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams on mechanical technical issues.
- Contribute to method statements, technical reports, and other project documentation.
- Ensure mechanical activities are carried out in line with approved standards, specifications, and project requirements.
- Help identify and resolve technical issues affecting mechanical systems and site operations.
- Assist with testing, commissioning, and inspection work for mechanical systems.
- Track project progress and provide technical assistance to site and engineering personnel.
- Keep accurate records and maintain documentation related to mechanical technical work.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline and bring 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering on construction projects. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction standards, and technical documentation is important. Experience with shop drawing review, technical submittals, and project coordination is expected. Familiarity with testing and commissioning processes for mechanical systems is also required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering software. A valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers is preferred or required.
