About the company

Stockwiz is a rapidly growing wealth-tech business in India, serving more than 30,000 active retail investors and traders. As a SEBI-registered organization, it works across education, advisory, and trading technology.

Its product ecosystem includes Stryke, a smart trading app; StrykeX, an algorithmic trading platform; and WizOps, an internal operations platform.

Role overview

This is a practical, technical product management role based in Jodhpur. The position is intended for someone who can guide product direction while remaining close to the underlying technology. You will be expected to take ownership from planning through release, working closely with engineering on architecture, code quality, and product readiness.

The role calls for a strong understanding of trading behavior and market workflows, especially where order accuracy, execution speed, and platform stability directly affect user outcomes. You should be comfortable shaping a roadmap, discussing API design, and reviewing code before launch.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the product vision and roadmap for Stryke, StrykeX, WizOps, and upcoming product initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into product requirements, PRDs, and measurable success metrics.
  • Study competitors and market trends to spot and validate opportunities for growth.
  • Collect, interpret, and act on user feedback to improve the product experience.
  • Coordinate delivery across teams, including schedules, milestones, and stakeholder communication.
  • Examine code, including AI-assisted code, and verify the business and trading logic is accurate.
  • Assess whether releases are ready for deployment and give release approval when appropriate.
  • Partner with engineering on architecture and technical choices, while challenging assumptions, estimates, and implementation approaches when needed.
  • Detect technical risks, remove delivery blockers, and maintain reliability and quality standards.

Required background

  • A software development foundation, with the ability to read and evaluate code rather than only manage tasks.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a product, technical product, or engineering role in fintech, trading, or SaaS.
  • Strong knowledge of stock markets, trading platforms, futures and options, and automated or algorithmic trading.
  • Practical familiarity with APIs, databases, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving ability.

Preferred profile

A computer science or engineering degree, or prior hands-on experience as a developer, is preferred. Experience with algo trading systems or tools built for trading workflows will be an advantage. Familiarity with SEBI-related regulatory considerations in fintech is also valued.

Compensation and work environment

The role is based in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India and is a full-time onsite position. The stated compensation range is ₹10–16 LPA.
