About the Role
Join a results-oriented, inclusive, and high-performing technology team focused on managing the bank’s customer data. As a Technical Support Analyst, you will contribute to executing individual and team objectives aligned with the bank's business strategies and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a customer-centric approach to strengthen client relationships and utilize the bank’s systems and knowledge effectively.
- Incorporate the bank’s risk appetite and culture into daily activities and decision-making processes.
- Maintain effective and efficient operations following the bank’s values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, ensuring operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk controls are in place and effective.
- Develop and deploy code in a professional setting, translating requirements from initial concept through to production.
- Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and job failures while offering support for live applications.
- Analyze and resolve incident tickets according to severity and priority, identifying root causes.
- Adhere to incident and change management protocols in coordination with internal teams.
- Support release management activities, including post-release monitoring and health checks, ensuring timely communication to relevant teams.
- Create and standardize preventive maintenance plans to uphold system stability and availability.
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotations providing support for production incidents, maintenance windows, and application releases to maintain 24/7 service reliability.
- Document systems, workflows, and operational runbooks to promote readiness and knowledge sharing.
- Promote a high-performance and inclusive workplace culture.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 2 years experience with ETL platforms such as iWay, Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
- At least 2 years of experience in application support, log monitoring, debugging, and incident management.
- Proficient with Unix Shell scripting and experienced with Java-based applications.
- Strong analytical skills, good grasp of databases and technical architecture, and familiarity with SQL.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a technical equivalent.
